Service Description

Val Pramper is a small side valley of Val di Zoldo, which in autumn becomes the perfect place to admire the foliage. In fact, the first part of the walk takes place in a beautiful beech forest, while the higher you climb, the more larch trees you will see, golden in their autumn colours. We will depart from Val di Zoldo, where we will begin our excursion on an easy and comfortable road, partly paved, with magnificent views of the Spitz. As we climb, we will encounter more and more larch trees, until we reach Malga Pramper, where the view opens up onto the surrounding peaks. From this point, the actual trail begins, which is sometimes steep, but we will tackle it calmly, chatting, enjoying the views and sharing stories about the valley. The view will suddenly open up onto a wide pass, from which we can admire the woods below and the Moiazza on the other side of the valley. A path with a few ups and downs takes us to the Pramperet refuge, where we will stop for a lunch break with a view. The return journey will be along a different, more direct road to the malga, and from there to the cars. PROGRAMME: Meeting at 8.45 a.m. in Forno di Zoldo, central bar. Last stretch by car to Pian de la Fopa. Return scheduled for 4 p.m. PHYSICAL EFFORT Elevation gain: 800 metres. Distance: 14 km. Estimated walking time: 6 hours.
