They are characterized by a very unique structure: a long series of sharp peaks, narrow valleys, and rock pinnacles. The most famous of these rock formations is the Campanile di Val Montanaia, known as the Grio di Pietra (Stone Cry). Only here do you encounter a few hikers, while the rest of the trail is very wild and uncrowded. This area is almost completely untouched by tourism, forgotten in the shadow of the more famous Dolomites. Yet it possesses a charm and beauty that rivals even the most famous peaks. With this beautiful trek, a true hiking expedition, over four days we will visit the Giaf, Flaiban-Pacherini, Pordenone, and Padua refuges, traversing the beautiful and wild valleys of the Pramaggiore, Monfalconi, Spalti di Toro, and Cridola mountain groups. We will hike along challenging trails surrounded by the wild beauty of the Dolomites, encountering few other hikers throughout the day. Each evening, we will be welcomed by a traditional refuge: no spa or double rooms, but plenty of kindness, warmth, and good food—just what you need to unwind after a day of walking. DIFFICULTY This trek is challenging, both due to the significant elevation gains we will cover each day, requiring several hours of walking, and the difficulty of the trails. We'll tackle exposed sections, narrow, steep trails, and scree slopes. This trek is suitable for you if you're already an experienced hiker, don't suffer from vertigo, are well-trained, and aren't afraid of tackling some challenging sections. PRICE €430.
