Service Description
Have you ever walked through the Dolomites and seen these large houses, built of wood but with a stone first floor? I am talking about tabià, typical buildings of the Belluno valleys. In the villages of Zoldo, you can admire several of them, some old and abandoned but still retaining all their charm, others renovated and transformed into beautiful homes. During this walk, we will discover more about these buildings and the history of the valley. There will also be some interesting facts and curiosities! PROGRAMME Meeting at 9.00 am in Fusine. After a short briefing, we will set off on the excursion. Return scheduled for 1 p.m. PHYSICAL EFFORT Difficulty: easy Elevation gain: 300 metres Walking time: 3 hours WHAT TO BRING - Snowshoes and poles (available for hire on request) - comfortable, warm shoes and clothing - gaiters - gloves and hat - windproof jacket - sunglasses - snacks, water or hot tea Snowshoe hire is not included, but if you need any, just let me know and I'll take care of it! The cost is 5 euros.
