Dolomites sunset

By now, everyone knows Passo Giau, one of the most photographed places in the Dolomites. Seeing it in winter is even more fascinating, when the green hills turn white with snow. When sunset arrives, not only do the mountains turn pink, but the snow we walk on also reflects the colour of the sky. And when the sunset is over, the stars begin to light up, and we will see millions of them shining in the winter sky. If you like magical atmospheres, or if you are passionate about photography, this excursion is for you! PROGRAMME Meeting at 2.15 p.m. at Passo Giau After a short briefing, we will set off on the excursion. Ascent to Forcella Giau. We will admire the sunset and take memorable photos! On the way down, we will stop to admire the stars. Return scheduled for 6.30 p.m. PHYSICAL EFFORT Difficulty E Elevation gain 400 metres Walking time: 3.5 hours WHAT TO BRING - Snowshoes and poles - Comfortable, warm shoes and clothing - Gloves and hat - Windproof jacket - Head torch - Snack, water or hot tea Snowshoe hire is not included, but if you need some, just let me know and I'll take care of it! The cost is €10.
