Six days on foot to discover a unique valley, far from mass tourism, which will reward those who walk through it with landscapes of unique beauty and unforgettable adventures. THE TREK IN BRIEF 6 days of walking, plus the first night in a hotel 74 km 4500 metres of elevation gain Minimum altitude: Forno di Zoldo 825 m Maximum altitude: Schinal del Bec, 2360 m Difficulty: EE WHY DO THE ZOLDANO LOOP? There are many high routes in the Dolomites, but I believe this one stands out among them all for its wildness, variety of landscapes and welcoming mountain huts. This loop encompasses a valley still unknown to mass tourism, and although the highest section crosses some of the best-known and most crowded trails, there will be days when we won't meet anyone! We will walk along paths that are not always perfect and comfortable, but some are not very obvious, and at times they disappear and become confusing. We will cross all kinds of environments, from cool woods to suffocating mountain pines to the highest rocks. We will encounter all kinds of paths. Last but not least, at the end of each stage, we will be welcomed by a beautiful mountain hut, where we can refresh ourselves with a cold beer, a shower and a delicious dinner. At the end of the trek, you won't be able to say which hut served the best food! DIFFICULTY Is this trek right for me? A journey on foot is always a journey within ourselves. This trip is for you if you are enthusiastic, curious, love and respect the mountains, and are ready to work hard for the reward of beautiful views and a sandwich. Be prepared! The stages are challenging but not extreme. Before setting off, assess your physical condition. Setting off without a minimum of training would make this adventure an unnecessary ordeal. The first three days are the most challenging, with elevation gains of around 1,000 metres and often difficult and uneven paths. The terrain is very varied along the entire route, from comfortable paths in the undergrowth to slippery descents on gravel, and to top it all off, there are a few easy passages on rock. If you suffer from vertigo, this may not be the trip for you, as some sections are very exposed.
