Snowshoeing weekend at the Fiume mountain hut

Do you enjoy snowshoeing but miss the thrill of long summer treks? Then this is the experience for you! Two days in the heart of the Dolomites, enveloped in winter charm, two magnificent snowshoe hikes that will take us to discover magical places and breathtaking views, and a night in an authentic mountain refuge, where hospitality and laughter are at home! On the first day, we will explore the magnificent Mondeval plateau, a white expanse of snow topped by the vertical walls of the Latoi. A magnificent snowshoe hike, with a nice elevation gain, to start the weekend off right! We will arrive at the small and cosy Città di Fiume refuge, where we will spend the night. From here, the sunset over Pelmo is incredible, and afterwards we will go out to admire the stars. We will spend the evening in good company, chatting and enjoying good food. On the second day, we will put on our snowshoes again and set off into the snow! We will reach the Fertazza slopes and what a view! Here we can drink a delicious bombardino while admiring the Civetta in front of us. Finally, we will make our last descent and return to Pescul where we left our cars. Cost: 90 euros + half board and overnight stay in a mountain hut to be paid on site (65 euros for CAI members, 80 euros for non-members) Snowshoe rental not included, but available on request at a cost of 20 euros Minimum 3 participants, maximum 10.
